The Practice of Mindfulness
“Mindfulness is simply a clear, non-judgemental awareness of our inner and outer worlds. In particular, it’s awareness of the flow of experiences in your inner world- an alert observing of your thoughts, emotions, body sensations…”
Rick Hanson (Neuroscientist)
Scientific and medical evidence is showing how the practice of Mindfulness has a powerful influence on our health, wellbeing and happiness. Most of us just want to feel better and experience less stress. While Mindfulness cannot ‘fix’ our lives, it can support us to respond to our circumstances from a place of compassion and curiosity. When we start to pay attention, we become aware of our own needs and how to best meet these needs.
